Sant’Angelo le Fratte is a small hamlet where live approximately thousand people. It is down to the Carpineto's mountain to around 500m of height.
Satriano is one of the municipalities of Basilicata that is part of the "authentic villages of Italy" and since 1988 has become the capital of murals.
The village of Savoia climbs up a slope that dominates the Melandro and is surrounded by wonderful nature. It is a medieval village and together with Satriano di Lucania and Sant'Angelo le Fratte you can walk and get immersed in art and history thanks to the murals shown and drawn on the walls of the centers of the Melandro valley.
